I had to write you and tell you how EXCITED I am about this music and this album and how TOUCHED I am at how much you all have embraced it and loved it!

For this album to be NUMBER 1!!! is such a blessing! and I couldn’t have done it without you so I had to write and give you MAAAAADDDD love and respect for all of your support of me from day 1!

I’m sitting here right now, seasoning up some fish for thanksgiving.

My thanksgiving is going to be quiet and sweet with some of my closests…thats the way I like it. it’s so nice to be back home for alittle bit. I only have the weekend but that’s more than I thought that I had originally. Originally I only thought I would have thanksgiving day and then would have to leave on the friday, but now I have two more days. lucky me!

The album is the biggest seller in the United States, shifting 742,000 copies in its first week of release. These represent the best sales figures for a solo female artist since Norah Jones sold 1million copies of her album “Feels Like Home” back in 2004.
