In a recent revealing interview with E! Television, Janet Jackson was asked to name three women she would most like to date if she were a lesbian.

The singer admitted she just can’t look beyond Alicia Keys: “I don’t know if I have three. I think I would pick Alicia Keys, for sure. I think she’s wonderful.”

Perfect choice. Enough said about it really.

16-alicia-keys-responds-to-blender-magazine-article.jpg

Alicia Keys has issued a response to the controversial quotes attributed to her in the current Blender magazine article when she appeared on the Ryan Seacrest radio show on Tuesday morning.

The musician was reported to have told the magazine that the government created gangsta rap as “a ploy to convince black people to kill each other. Gangsta rap didn’t exist.”

But Keys explained to Seacrest: “I feel that I wasn’t a hundred per cent clear on what I was saying and so, because of that, it somehow got misinterpreted that I was saying that the government was creating gangsta rap. That’s not what I was saying. What I was saying was that the term gangsta rap was so over sloganized during that time. That’s what I was trying to talk about.
